Today the Octopus Garden, a new interactive exhibit at SEA LIFE Aquarium Grapevine opens!
SEA LIFE Aquarium is located at the Grapevine Mills Mall, 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine, TX 76051.

From octopus and cuttlefish to nautilus, these distinctive creatures have almost supernatural abilities including camouflage, ink clouds and jet propulsion. Octopus Garden includes hands-on activities demonstrating some of the unique skills belonging to cephalopods.

With five new display tanks, the exhibit features a Giant Pacific Octopus, Zebra Octopus, Pharaoh Cuttlefish and Chambered Nautilus. Octopus Garden also includes: a hide-and-seek octopus game, an octopus memory quiz, octopusmaze activity and two new educational presentations. Octopus Garden opens to the public on Wednesday, April 4 at 10 a.m. www.sealifeus.com/grapevine

Legoland Dallas is going to have a Girls Weekend Feb 11-14th! They have several fun things planned for this weekend! Here is a list of a few of them:

Scavenger Hunt:
Visit MINILAND during your visit and tell us where you spot the 5 LEGO Friends! You will write where you find each LEGO Friend hanging out on the Activity Sheet provided to you in admissions. Drop off your Activity Sheet at the Retail Counter as you leave to be entered in their drawing for a very special prize

Themed Builds:
Visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Cafe area to participate in our open theme building! Available 10am-5pm (Saturday and Sunday Only)

LEGO Friends/Princess Costume Contest:
Visit the theme building area to register for the LEGOLAND Discovery Center costume contest. One winner per age group (2 years and under, 3-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years) Winners will receive special LEGO Friend prizes! Costume winners will be contacted by phone the week after the event. Available 10am-5pm (Saturday and Sunday Only)

Visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Cafe and enjoy some warm delicious cookies for FREE! Available February 11-14 during 2-4pm

We are celebrating Children’s Health Month (October) and Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (October 23-29). This fun-filled event will feature music, games, face painting, story-telling, give-aways, puppets, and a magician. Attendees will get an up-close look at a Dallas Fire and Rescue fire engine, the EPA mobile command post and much more.
