I just saw this troubling video about JCPenney marking prices up. I am appalled to say the least. I can’t believe that they just slap stickers over the lower price to make the consumer think that they are getting a deal.
This really bothers me… like really unnerves me. I want to tell all of my friends and family to peel the price stickers and don’t buy items for more then the price listed on the bottom. Sickening!

We recently went shopping at Grapevine Mills and journeyed into the Nike Factory Store to buy my 8 yr old some running shoes. I have worn Nikes for years and I knew they had kid sizes as well! We were able to find some comfortable, light weight running shoes that just happened to be pink and black…colors she really likes.
The Nike Factory Store at Grapevine Mills has closed for the next few days to update its look. The store will reopen on Friday, April 5 starting at 10 a.m. with grand reopening events scheduled through Sunday, April 7. I just ordered my heart out! Got 4 outfits and one doll! I’ve decided that my 5, going on 6 yr old can have a Dollie and Me birthday party and I am SOOO excited about it! Go look…the dolls are around $32.50 and the outfits are around $20! ADORABLE!
Chloe definitely has her own “style” now too. She doesn’t like things that are too preppy, or things that are too girly. This leaves me always wondering what exactly she would like. So off to PS by Aeropostale in our local Grapevine Mills mall, we went.
We had such a great experience there! Almost everything in the store was on sale. This made it easy for me to say “yes” to Chloe’s choices and I didn’t find things to be skimpy, short, or too thin. I, of course, was drawn to the HUGE sale in the back of the store and spend most of my time filling a bad of $1.99-$3.99 items. You truly can’t beat that price for nice clothes! I was able to pick up camis, pajama pants, khaki pants, polo shirts, jean skirts, swim suits, and more back there. I loaded a bag full and each of my kids (and even my niece) got stocked on nice clothes!

Chloe feel in love with these jammie pants and I loved the awesome tankini’s for just $1.99. I think she is at the age where wearing them under tops or to sleep in is a great idea!. The employees were so helpful and helped me by placed my stacks of clothes behind the counter while I shopped! It was awesome! I will definitely be going back!

We love the Chuggington DVD’s because the provide good wholesome entertainment through trains, what could be better?! Totsy sent me a DVD and this Chuggington Traintastic Adventures provides 6 episodes, plus a bonus one making 7 which gives our kiddos 60min of traintastic fun! My kids are taught my great lessons in decision making, team work, responsibility, and patience. It is fun to watch your kids excited and singing the theme song as they hold their Chuggington Trains (Wilson was the favorite in this house, until camo decorated Brewster came along). In comparison to other kid entertainment on the market, I don’t mind letting them watch these shows. I would highly recommend these cartoons to anyone!! This would make great Christmas gifts…go check it out!
