Get ready because on Friday Nike will reopen their updated FACTORY STORE at Allen Premium Outlets. They will have a New Look and Gift Giveaways Part of Grand Reopening Events! This will happen all weekend, May 24 – 27.

They will be closed through May 23rd to update their look and will host grand reopening events starting Friday, May 24 at 10 a.m. through Monday, May 27. As part of the celebration, the first 200 shoppers each day will receive a free gift and all shoppers can enter to win a $500 Nike gift card.

The Neon Splash Dash is coming to Dallas and you won’t want to miss it! I have really enjoyed running fun 5K’s over the past year! It is so much fun to run with friends and it keeps me accountable to stay fit! (I try to do one every other month!) Currently, you can register for the Neon Splash Dash which will be in Dallas September 21st! I am going to run it and I would love to see you there!

What makes this one super awesome is that it’s at night! You get sprayed with Neon fluorescent Glow Water under High-end Professional Ultra Violet Blacklights. You literally glow! How cool is that?

Taste Addison (+ Giveaway!) #TasteAddison #AddisonFun

Taste Addison offers a tasty weekend blend of food, music and family fun. This three-day festival, May 17 – 19, 2013, features more than 70 Addison restaurants serving generous samplings of their menus at reduced prices, national breakout musical entertainment. This year’s event features a Texas Country night on Friday with headlining acts like Reckless Kelly and Turnpike Troubadours. Saturday will cap off a full day of musical entertainment with favorites Sister Hazel and Blue October. In addition, they will have celebrity chef demonstrations, carnival rides, midway games, award-winning children’s entertainment, and more.

For families there are several fun features including “Disney’s Little Mermaid Junior,” crafts like Painting with a Twist and of course, the carnival rides. Too fun! Don’t miss out:

ENDED: Heading to #Brandcation and fun with @Pampers

I am heading to Destin, Florida for a fun weekend with #Brandcation girls! This is my 3rd Brandcation trip to go on! I absolutely love them! My first was to Florida and my 2nd to Pigeon Forge, TN.

While in Destin, I will enjoy the following:

A Pirate Dinner Cruise (I bought a special outfit for this!!)
LOTS of time on the beach
Paddle Board Lessons
Jet Ski’s
Snuba
and dinner at some awesome restaurants!

I will be posting all about my trip when I get back…but you can follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see things as they unfold! I also borrowed a Go Pro camera to capture all of the action!

I was invited to check out my local shop and enjoy a massage! I was so ready to get my muscles worked because I had just ran a 5K last week and climbed a rock climbing wall, leaving me a hot mess. I opted for the deep tissue massage and was VERY pleased that my therapist did such an amazing job. He asked me up front what areas that I wanted the most focus on and then he started there and really worked the knots out. He did a great job working all of my sore achy muscles, but I was especially pleased with the attention he gave to my requests! I always feel like that hour FLYS by and I NEVER want it to end!

ENDED: Cooking with Bertolli Olive Oil (+ giveaway)

Cooking with Bertolli Olive Oil is not only easy, but it’s awesome so yummy and light! This is one of my families favorite recipes and it’s so simple!

Simply wash and cut up your fresh veggies. Put them in your favorite baking dish, then drizzle Bertolli Olive oil over the top and bake at 400 for 45 minutes.

I cover mine for the first 30-40 minutes, then leave it uncovered for the last 10 minutes until desired color.

Chef Fabio Viviani’s Creamy Apple Walnut Chicken Salad Recipe

Serve: 6
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/4 lbs.)
1 Tbsp. Bertolli® Extra Light™ Tasting Olive Oil
¼ cup lowfat sour cream
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. stone ground mustard
2 apples, cored and cubed in bite-size pieces
2 ribs celery, thinly sliced diagonally
½ cup chopped Walnuts
1 Tbsp. chopped chives

Season chicken with salt and ground black pepper. Heat Bertolli Extra Light Tasting Olive Oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken, turning once, about 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Cool chicken completely and cut into bite-size pieces.

Combine sour cream, mustard, and lemon juice in medium bowl. Stir in chicken, apples, celery, walnuts and chives. Serve cold. Serve, if desired, with crusty Italian bread or over greens.

I know a lot of people who also do highlights for the summer as well. I can’t do them as my hair is so dark and the grey shows up too quickly. Hubby and my 4 yr old went for haircuts. They got in quickly with a call a head appointment. Since it was my hubbys first time to go, he got a wash and cut for just $10.99! Such a great price. Getting my hair washed by someone else is one of my favorite things to do. I love how relaxing it is and how much it helps me to have confidence about my new cut.
