Susan G Komen 3 Day is coming to Dallas Nov. 6-8th

I am excited about participating in the Susan G Komen this year! My grandma is a breast cancer survivor and I am so thankful. I know that it seems so out of touch for many as most feel invincible…but it’s not. It’s far more common then I care to admit. In fact, my roommate from college…who is the same age as me, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year.

She is currently fighting thru and taking chemo. (You can follow her story here.)

I am walking 20 miles in honor of her and I am sure it will be the most emotional 20 miles I’ve ever walked. I will be walking with other survivors and hearing their stories!

You can cheer me (and the true hero’s – the survivors and those currently fighting) on! Here are the cheering stations:

Huge Fall Savings at Just Between Friends Dallas

I was invited to shop the JBF Dallas sale and post about my awesome finds. All opinions are my own and are honest.

I love a good deal! I really love a good deal on consumables…you know those things that won’t be in our homes for very long! My kids are growing and changing on a daily basis and keeping them in adorable clothes that don’t cost a fortune is something that I pride myself in! I love when they look adorable and I know it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.

This is one of the main reasons that I love Just Between Friends so much! Currently JBF Dallas is going on! It is open to the public tomorrow and it’s HUGE! Over 750 people are consigning their kids gently used clothes, toys, and equipment!

I got to go to the presale today and I was specifically looking for Halloween costumes for my girls. I just can NOT pay a ton for a costume for my kids to wear for ONE night! JBF Dallas had tons of choices and we ended up with with some great deals! I paid $17 total for all three of my kids costumes! Chloe is going to be Spidergirl, Emma is going to be a flapper girl, and Maci is going to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader! She is in LOVE with her costume!

I also scored a great deal on a Razer Ripstick that Chloe has been wanting. I paid just $15 and it’s selling for over $73 shipped on Amazon. I wish I had the ability to put it up and save it for Christmas…but truth be told, I want to try it out too! :)

This sale is HUGE! Massive! Seriously! Here is a short video I did to give you an idea of what to expect!

Pamper yourself at Spa On The Square in Southlake Town Center

Spa on the Square invited some bloggers to come preview their services. All opinions are my own!

If you are looking for a one stop shop then you will want to head to Spa On The Square in Southlake Town Center! They offer so many services!

I got to check out some of their services and I loved every minute of it! I had my hair straightened! (I have naturally curly hair and it’s no fun to straighten!) This was a HUGE treat for me! I ended up buying the Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask. I can’t wait to try it out on my hair and my oldest daughters hair!

I also got a mini massage! This was awesome! Linda, the therapist knew right where my sore spots were and she worked them over! She educated me a ton and gave me some awesome tips on how to prevent my back from getting so sore again!

The facial I received was a new experience for me. I didn’t know what to expect but I loved it! I could definitely tell that my skin was TONS softer. I loved that it was tailored for my skin.

I didn’t have much time get my nails done but did sit down and get some tips. Did you know that Moroccan oil makes a skin care line now? I didn’t either. Keeping my hands well moisturized will help keep the hang nails at bay! Who knew? (I didn’t!)

If you are looking for a place to get pampered, then check it out! I will definitely go back! Right now they are being featured on Groupon! Go grab this deal!
