*I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Wet Ones. I received free admission to Six Flags, attended an informational and complimentary luncheon, and received a gift and promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
I was recently invited to Six Flags over Texas along two of my girls! We used a FREE ticket earned from reading at school and paid for my hubbys ticket (using coupon code: COKE to get it discounted!) and the others were taken care of by Mom Central and Wet Ones. We made this a family day of play in this fun park! We met up with tons of other Texas bloggers aand their families and were hosted by Mom Central and Wet Ones.
The fun started off with photos with a few of our favorite Looney Toon characters! We got to take pictures with them and hang out with the other bloggers! After our big Sea World ordeal with losing a child, we wanted to make sure we had a game plan this time! Luckily for us, they have awesome ID bracelets for kids. You put your name and your cell phone number on it, then the child wears it and they can use the info to contact you, should you get separated from your child.
We know that going into a place like Six Flags, we are going to be touching a lot of things that a lot of other people have touched. Honestly, since my kids aren’t putting their hands in their mouths anymore, I don’t think about germs until we stop to eat. Then we are all about getting the germs off before eating! Unlike hand sanitizer, Wet Ones actually provide you something to wipe your hands WITH. I like that you can get the dirt and germs off onto something else…instead of just rubbing the wet sanitizer into the dirt, making mud and grime.
Most kid friendly foods are hands on and with Wet Ones, we had confidence that the girls had clean hands. We really needed Wet Ones when we stopped to enjoy a Funnel Cake. That is some yummy fried goodness…that is MESSY! You can’t really eat it with a fork…so having Wet Ones to clean your hands is a MUST!
Wetones are affordable and just $0.97-$2.99. I love the take and toss sized ones. I keep those in my purse at all times. You never know when you might find yourself in a sticky situation. (Pun intended!)
