What a year and a half we have had! Covid, quarantine, and all things “not normal!” My kids were so excited to go back to school this year. They were excited to see friends and start the school year off “normal” again.
My older kids are all vaccinated, but we are still taking precautions to prevent getting Covid the best we can. My little guy is not…and can’t be yet. He is only five. He is wearing a masking at school (with no complaints) and I have asked him to wash his hands as often as he can while there.
We had the option to do virtual school with him for the first 9 weeks, but opted that he needed to be there in person for social growth. He needs peers and the routine that going in person offers. I know he will thrive and do great! He told me this morning that he “loves school!”
