Race the Fidget Spinner

ou are probably well aware…fidget spinners are THE thing right now! My kids have begged for them for months! I opted not to get them one until school was out as I didn’t want them to have distractions during class. I have one child with ADHD and she fairs fine WITHOUT it! It’s a fun toy that they love to play with…and it’s quiet…so it was a go!

Being the smart mom that I am (haha, only when I am REALLY on my game!) I figured out a way to make this toy work for ME! I laid the spinners on the table…told the girls to spin them…and to get their chore done BEFORE it stops! If they accomplish the task before it stops spinning, they get a reward. If they don’t…they get another chore!

I tried it and it worked like a CHARM! Super simple and they loved it too! No time to argue because they would get another chore..haha! Of course I let them have the spinners when they were done with the chores but I do plan to use it again! You would not believe what you can get done in 5 minutes with three kids and three fidget spinners!
