Riding in cars with Boys

I’ve learned a lot in the past 10 months and I am sure I will learn even more in the coming years! We have been a family of five for almost eight years and all our kids (until last year) are girls! Girls are talkers. They like to sing and be dramatic. They are so different then our son! He is only 10 months now, but is changing more and more each day! Riding in cars with girls has become the norm and now we are making the transition to a boy!

Boys like the sounds of traffic, the big loud roar of the pick up next to us. They love seeing Fire trucks and hearing police sirens. Our little guy lights up with the loud noises! Currently he is rear facing so he can not see too much outside of the car, but he looks around and gets excited none the less. When we watched my friends 4 yr old last year he was all about the construction taking place in the lots and on the roads. We talked about what they were doing as we drove pass. He was not interested in the same “girly” travel that I was used it. It was so fun hearing him and getting a preview of our future.

I am sure as Nathan gets older he will be all about the power behind the sound and we will probably be purchasing our first pick up! I love how different my kids are and will continue to celebrate and encourage Nathan to like all things noisy!

Currently at home, we have cars that he plays with that light up, some that you push a button and they take off and some that he gets to narrate and add sound and movement to! It’s so fun having a boy!

Since I know our future will be loud, I checked a few dealerships and found that Reedman Toll Chevrolet has some great deals going right now with their Rake the Savings event!
