We were sent this movie to review! All opinions are our own and are honest! My 10 yr old gladly did this review!
The Good Dinosaur is another great Disney Pixar film! It is an amazing family movie that is highly recommended! This movie is about a dinosaur who works on a farm with his family. Everyone in the family has “made their mark” except Ario. He wants so badly to “make his mark” so, his dad came up with a plan. He was supposed to protect the corn they grew but he let the critter get away. His dad became angry with him and they both started running after the critter, but as they were running a huge storm came on and the river they were walking next to flooded! His dad managed to get Ario to safety, but he got washed away in the flood and died. When it was harvesting time again Ario promises to his mother that he will NOT let them parish… but when he went to put the corn away for winter he found the critter that he and his dad chased after the year before, back again. He chased after the little thing but got lost and was far away from his home. While he was trying to find his way back the little critter decided to try and make friends with the dinosaur. They were friends, but as they were walking they ran into a rino-tree looking thing. He asked if he could have the critter. He said the first person to name him got to keep him. “SPOT” Ario called and the critter came to him. So Ario and Spot set off to find home… but then they came across a flying dinosaur who ate little critters! While Spot went to hide they were fighting over another small critter. Then they figured out that Spot was near and tried to attack. They found some T-Rexs in front of them and asked for help. The biggest T-Rex came over and threatened to eat him but then his son mentioned something about losing a herd of buffalo, so Ario explained that Spot could sniff out anything. So they followed Spot were ever he went… and he found the buffalo! However, when they got there they realized that there were animals called “wrestlers” there eating the buffalo! They had a plan and it worked, they got the buffalo back! The T-Rexs then led Ario and Spot to the mountains that he lived by. On their way there however they ran into the flying dinosaurs again, who this time took Spot! In order to get Spot back, Ario had to face his fear of the river. He fought off all the flying dinos and… another flood happened! He swam quickly to try to save Spot and finally got to him but not before they got washed up by the flood… but they survived! When they finally got to the mountains and were about to go back to Ario’s house a critter (human) showed up and Spot realized it was his family! Ario said his good-bye’s to Spot and ran home to his brother,sister, and his mother! He then “made his mark”.
