My hubby and I have both owned Fitbits for over a year now! I got mine first and fell in love with it! It never left my sight. Like my iPhone, I am never more then a few feet away from it! After a few months of using mine, my hubby decided he wanted one.

At first, he had to work hard to compete with my step count. I liked going to bed at night knowing that I beat him. This went on for about two months before he decided to step up his game…literally! He started adding some workouts at noon and I had to work harder to catch him. After a few more months of this, I gave up the fight and just “let him” beat me!

Steve seemed content being #1 on my friends list and on his as well. Then the new year came and he decided to start running! I love that he wants to up his fitness game, but this is where he decided to retire the Fitbit.

After a few days of running, he noticed that his numbers were lower then normal. He felt as if his cardio workout was more challenging but his numbers were falling. And he was right!

The Fitbit does not give you proper credit for the amount of cardio that you put in…if it’s more then a run. The only way to get the credit is to take it off, then after your workout log into fitbit.com and log the activity.

I haven’t retired mine yet, as I love competing with friends and family. It keeps me motivated!
