I have been using the Walmart Family Mobile Plan on an iPhone with unlimited everything (and no contract!) thru the Walmart Family Mobile plan for a few months now and wanted to update you on my thoughts. When I got this phone, I asked my Facebook friends what they thought about an unlimited plan for just $40 and they thought there had to be a catch.
I was determined to find the catch…because this was too good to be true, right? After a few months, I must say that I am still bewildered… I can’t find the catch. My bills from Walmart Family Mobile have been spot on and the service has been awesome. I haven’t had issues with text messages, data use or even placing calls. I have used this phone service all over the US. I took it to Vegas and used it there…with no issues. I used it in Kansas City without incident, as well as in Austin and Ohio.
This plan really is legit and awesome! We were paying much more with a contract and not getting near as much.
You can check the T-Mobile coverage area on the Walmart Family Mobile website to make sure coverage is great in your area. I have used this new plan (along side the old one to compare) all over the Dallas Fort Worth area and 9 times out of 10, the coverage was BETTER with the Walmart Family Mobile Plan iPhone.
