The Gift of Lights was very fun and exciting for the whole family! We had never been to the Texas Motor Speedway, so it was interesting for us to see how big it was. As soon as you enter the parking lot there are lights already greeting you. We were given the opportunity to purchase 3-D glasses and reindeer antlers to wear. We got to drive at our own speed through the light display which was underneath the seats of the stadium/race track. There were all sorts of colorful displays as well as some lights in motion. The kids yelled out everything they saw, totally enjoying the show! We got to go under some arches of lights as well which would have been really neat if our car had a sunroof. We brought along some cookies and milk to enjoy on our drive through, however, at the end of the drive there is a tent set up to buy hot chocolate and visit Santa. We had lots of fun, our only complaint, or I should say the complaint of our kiddos, was that we didn’t get to see the race cars. 🙂 Our drive through took us about 25-30 minutes.
