I spoil my kids with treats in December. I am not sure if it’s the “Holiday Spirit” or just me looking to spoil them, but I love watching their little spirits light up when they get a treat! I’ve been looking for fun, seasonal ways to treat them and was so excited to be sent some Graeter’s Peppermint Stick Ice Cream. The old-fashioned, super-premium ice cream is the perfect wintertime treat! Cincinnati’s hometown favorite since 1870, Graeter’s is now available at local Kroger stores and right now you can get limited-edition holiday Peppermint Stick Ice Cream.
This is a fourth-generation family-owned company that stands apart from the rest having pioneered the French Pot process of making only two gallons at a time with all-natural ingredients. End result… a dense, creamy texture and massive dark chocolate chips. My girls were so excited to get “ice cream” on the beautiful 80 degree December afternoon here in Texas. They have had peppermints and candy canes so they knew the flavor right off. The sweet, along side the mint was a big hit! I loved it as well…wasn’t too sweet. I loved that it left the “minty fresh” feeling and not a funky sugary after taste!
Head to your local Kroger store and get it while you can! It’s a seasonal flavor, so it won’t be around too long!
