My hubby came home one night and told me that his friend Jarrod had told him about a show that we might like. Okay, hubby like sports or comedy…not really a big drama guy (unless it’s reality TV). I, on the other hand, love a good drama or love story. So I was intrigued.
We started watching Once Upon a Time the night the 2nd episode aired. We were HOOKED! We did go watch the 1st one to catch up, but it was easy to jump into as it is the deep dark twisted storys of the princesses and other fairy tale characters. We set our DVR that night and vowed to never miss an episode.
The Evil Queen has cast an evil spell on an enchanted forest filled with fairytale characters. The curse trapped these characters in a place where all their happy endings were stolen – our world. Now the Evil Queen is acting as town mayor, and all of the inhabitants of the fairytale world of Storybrooke can’t seem to remember any details of their past lives. As the truth starts to unfold, the battle between good and evil begins.
Since that night, I have told almost all of my friends about it and have asked if they were watching. I love the way each week the story was so twisted and unexpected things happened. I was SOO lost when it got down to the last episode! I wasn’t ready for it to end and am so excited that Season Two starts in a few short weeks! You can count on me watching!
So here is your warning…if you buy this BluRay set, be prepared to watch it NON-stop as you will LOVE it and will be captivated from the first 10 minutes! I would not have been able to stop myself! 🙂 Captivating!
