  1. It may be a little unconventional, but recently on Juice in the City there was a deal for indoor Rock climbing. I got it for my husband and I, though we have never rock climbed before, I thought it would be something fun and different for us to try together.

Dates are few and far between with two little ones and my father-in-law living with us currently. My hubby and I love to go eat fondue. It’s great food and because the meal is so long it allows for lots of conversation.

  3. Some of the dates my husband and I have enjoyed together: Playing games at Dave and Busters (and getting some small prize with our tickets as a reminder of the fun!), stand-up paddleboarding (in Grapevine) – had a Groupon for it and we LOVED it!, we did the indoor rock-climbing too, love Melting Pot (even just for cheese and chocolate)!

  4. What about a candle light dinner at home, after kids are in bed? You can avoid crowded places at V day….

  5. My wife and I like going to studio movie grill. Dinner and a movie all in one can’t go wrong there. Then we usually grab dessert somewhere and enjoy quiet time together.

  6. My favorite dates are ones where we can actually visit with each other! Dinner, shopping, movie at home after kiddo in bed, sporting event. 🙂

We haven’t had a date night in a long time, but we used to rent a movie, pop a bowl of popcorn and snuggle on the couch. Fun and cheap for Valentine’s date!

Trent’s obsession with motor vehicles (and his sharing/brainwashing of the same with Hampton) would make this a wonderful Valentine’s Day present for both of them!

  9. I would love to go with hubby and try the stand-up paddleboarding on Lake Grapevine. We tried it in Maui and we loved it.

I’m sure you’ve already done the drawing, but after reading your post 5 times initially and checking back for the drawing results, I just NOW realized (reading it yet again) that you wanted people to post date ideas!!! UGH! Clearly, I shouldn’t multi-task. We haven’t been on an actual date in ages, but I think the last one we had, we drove out to Trail Dust for dinner and country dancing. Two activities at one stop made it fun. Plus, if your are really adventurous, you can slide down the big wooden slide and laugh at each other…a lot.
