We got a new little puppy and my girls love the Buddies Movies…and couldn’t wait to get their hands on the new Spooky Buddies Movie! We got it in the mail and had to pop it in as quickly as we could open it!
It was a little creepier then I expected! I mean those puppies are so stinkin cute and cuddly….who would have thought? The movie is a typical “good vs. evil” Halloween type movie. The story line was captivating and I thought the ending was both heart racing and appropriate! The Buddies are dressed up so cute in their little costumes, made my girls beg to dress up our new puppy!
For my family, I must say that I think Disney’s Spooky Buddies was a little too dark. They are age 6 and under and they were definitely worried, hinged on the edge of their seat thru most of the movie. I had no clue just how scary it would be…the use of the words “stupid” and “idiot” were all over the movie…both of these are words we do not allow our kids to use. This a fun movie for kids aged 8 and up in my opinion. My 6 yr old said it was very scary.

Movie went in the trash!
We watched this last night, and I was NOT impressed. It was very dark and too scary for both my 5-year-old and 8-year-old. I can’t believe it has a G rating. Good thing we only checked it out from the library and didn’t buy it.
