As a mom, wife, sister, friend, and more I don’t need another hat to wear! I wish I had my own secretary to schedule and set up playdates for me, but I don’t. This is where I am excited to introduce you to a new app that doesn’t require me to wear anymore hats, but instead makes my life easier! There is a new app for you to download called Red Rover! This app is perfect for moms! I love setting up playdates with my girl friends, but it’s not always easy to remember to send out the email when I get home of when and where! This is where Red Rover saves the day! I simply open the app on my iPhone, and either look for kid friendly places, clean bathrooms, or more. Then once I select where I want to go, I can either announce where I am to my friends personally or via Facebook! (I love that part!) If I want to set up a play date I select “meet” and can choose “now” or “later!” Once I select when, I choose location, then I can invite friends to join me! I love that it’s so simple! Best of all I love that I get a reminder of the playdate! I am in a MOPS group and can see this as a great tool in setting up playdates and reminding others!
My whole world is on my phone and it’s so easy at a stop light or while waiting at the Dr’s office to set up a playdate or get together!
My Top five places for a playdate near me are: The Little Gym, Chuck E Cheese, Gymboree, Toys R Us, and Babies R Us. I set up and met some friends at Gymboree. We shopped while our little ones watched cartoons! 🙂
There are several features to this app that I would like to tell you more about! There is a “clean bathroom” finder! I have all girls and this is something that eases my mind! My hubby loves it as well as he is OCD about clean bathrooms! The second feature that I thought was genius was the “emergency” tab on the app! This is such a needed thing, as it will bring peace of mind to moms and dads everywhere. I pulled it up to see if it was correct and it was! The nearest hospital was listed! A frantic mom doesn’t always have time to think about where the nearest hospital is! (I’ve been there, I know!)
