I love living in Dallas, Texas! I love all that there are so many family friendly things to do! As a mom of a young family, I am always looking for ways to educate my kids and help them learn and explore.
Along with the grand opening, Sea Life is looking for local kids to help raise awareness about conservation efforts! If you have a kid aged 8-12, they can try to be one of twelve local kids selected to serve as a young environmentalist for a year! To enter, simply:
- Write a 100-word essay beginning “We need to protect our Sea Life because…”
- Create a picture with any medium of an imaginary sea creature
- Be willing to talk to their school and classroom about the importance of taking care of our world’s sea creatures
- Become a “fan” of Sea Life Grapevine on Facebook and upload your entry – www.facebook.com/SeaLifeGrapevine – deadline is June 15
