For those who know me well, know I LOVE all things Pumpkin! YUM! Well right now I am working hard to shed a ton of unwanted weight and unfortunately most pumpkin flavored items are pumped full of carbs and sugar….two things I am trying to cut back on! Thankfully, I have amazing friends who give me ideas to try and this is one of them!!!
This is a high protein smoothie…it is not carb free, but it is MUCH LOWER then almost everything else out there! Here is the recipe I created:
1 Premier Protein Vanilla Shake
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Puree
1 sprinkle pumpkin pie spice
Mix well with crushed ice and enjoy! (I crushed my ice first in my Ninja, then added the other stuff and shook it all together!) Here is the nutritional breakdown for you:

I’m a pumpkin fanatic as well and actually enjoy making my own puree. Its quite simple to do, just half the pumpkin, remove the seeds & snot, roast in the oven, scrape out the “meat” and blend it up. I like using it to make “pumpkin pie oatmeal” for breakfast!
