Moms are busy busy people! They put a lot of endless efforts into keeping the worlds of those around them moving along. They often deny themselves treats in order to give more to their kids or homes. They are unselfish with their time and that is one of the reasons why I love Mother’s day so much! It’s a day to focus on and spoil your mom!
One of my favorite gifts to receive as a mom is the gift of relaxation. Imagine a day of doing nothing… okay that is not realistic, imagine 1 hour of doing nothing! That is realistic! A massage is a perfect 1 hour get away! (It’s actually 50 minutes!)

I was invited to check out my local shop and enjoy a massage! I was so ready to get my muscles worked because I had just ran a Mud run 5K last week working muscles that I don’t normally use, leaving me a hot, sore mess. I opted for the Swedish massage and was VERY pleased that my therapist did such an amazing job. She asked me up front what areas that I wanted the most focus on and then she started there and really worked the knots out. She did a great job working all of my sore achy muscles, but I was especially pleased with the attention she gave to my requests! I always feel like that hour FLYS by and I NEVER want it to end!

I am a mama of 4 boys and rarely get a break! A massage would be an amazing gift to recharge to be the best mommy I can be.
I’d love to have one because I’m driving 26 hours round trip by myself to visit my two grandmothers in Illinois and my back will be aching!
