We are in the month of April and that only means one thing… it’s time to file your taxes if you haven’t already! With my 1099 forms and receipts, I know I can count on TurboTax to make filing quick and easy.
By filing your taxes now, you can skip the April 15th rush! Tackle those taxes bit by bit, and set yourself a deadline before the due date! With the help of TurboTax, you can have peace of mind and relax when everyone else is rushing through it!
TurboTax is available in Free, Deluxe, Premier, and Home & Business tiers. I have found that the Premier verison works best for me – it’s priced around $70 and such a smart choice! (TurboTax State is an optional add-on for an additional fee, which includes e-filing.)
TurboTax is always up-to-date and has a way of searching over 350 tax deductions, ensuring you get the maximum credits you qualify for, getting you the biggest tax refund possible. In fact, they guarantee it! TurboTax will even run through thousands of error checks and double-check your tax returns for mistakes! If you pay an IRS or state penalty or interest because of a TurboTax calculation error, they will even pay the penalty and interest!
I know with these helpful perks and TurboTax online, I can relax and know my taxes will be done right. And, because I stay organized through the year, I can have everything done in just a few hours!
Here are a few tips to help you get organized for Tax season:
1.) Keep all of your bills organized in one place, online or off
2.) Keep a calculator nearby for easy addition
3.) Keep all receipts! I scan mine via smartphone on a FREE app called CamScan)
4.) Monthly, document any/all donations
5.) Put all Tax documents in a labeled folder for safe keeping. (Keep them for 7 years!)
Giveaway:
One lucky MyCRAZYSavings reader will win a code for TurboTax:

I think we will save ours and spend it on a road trip (if that happens). Otherwise, it’ll just go to savings.
Unfortunately, no return for us this year. 🙁 That’s why I’ve put off filing! But winning this code would take the sting off (a little). 🙂
I would use it to pay off the car
Furniture!!
