We try to make a habit of reading God’s word to our girls each night. We don’t always get it right, but we do try! They love reading the stories to each other or hearing us read them out loud. Jesus Calling Bible Storybook is an easy read for little ones who are just learning to read. I love that the pages are illustrated with photos that beautifully back up the text. Sometimes I think the Bible can be very overwhelming, but this storybook makes it very easy for kids to relate and understand. (Honestly, as an adult, I love the reminders of stories that I might not have read for a few years!) To have faith like a child again, taking out all of the craziness and stresses of life to just understand who God is and why He would send Jesus to redeem us for our sins. Such a gift.

I love how beautifully this storybook helps kids understand Jesus’ role throughout the Old Testament, the New Testament and their lives today. The stories will teach little ones about the Bible and the devotions will lead them to an early and close walk with Jesus.
