If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, then you know that I’ve had a Lincoln MKC the last few days! Grapevine Lincoln loaned it to me for the weekend to check out this new awesome luxurious ride. We picked it up on Thursday afternoon and were very quickly impressed with several features.

Some of the features that set this ride above the rest include: Lane keeping system, Vista roof, adaptive cruise control, hands free lift gates, auto start, auto fold power mirror, air conditioned seats and more.

We drove the MKC to celebrate the 4th of July with family and it was a very relaxing drive. The awesome adaptive cruise control allowed me to set the cruise and relax. I didn’t have to step on the breaks when a slower car moved in front of me. I simply set the desired car length at 4 and once I was within 4 car lengths of the car in front of me, the MKC slowed down. When they moved over or sped up, it did too! Too awesome. I also love the Lane keeping system. If the roads are clearly marked and I slightly veered, it would correct me. I wouldn’t call it hands free driving, but I didn’t have to correct it. (I was nervous to try it out, but once I did on an open road and saw how awesome it was, I was super impressed!) I could see this as a HUGE benefit for distracted drivers. I love that it not only correct me but that it also made a noise.

The hands free lift gate is sooo awesome. All you have to do is swipe your foot under the rear bumper and it pops open. This is especially great if you have your hands full!

Last, I LOVED the leather interior. It was so beautiful and luxurious. The only problem with leather…and black at that, is that the HOT Texas sun will warm it up really quickly! This is NOT a problem with the Lincoln MKC as you can use the auto start to cool things down and it has awesome air conditioned seats. You can turn them off or on. So awesome! I bet a Texan thought of that!

If you are in the market for a new ride and don’t want a car, but don’t want a huge SUV, then you will want to head over to Grapevine Lincoln and check out the Lincoln MKC. Truly, it is a very luxurious smooth driving Crossover and easily fits a family of five.
