I have to admit that I am very intrigued by the idea of driving a hybrid minivan. I feel like I am Uber-Mom and I live in my van… and we go thru SOOO much gas. I would love to compare and see the savings of driving a hybrid minivan for a week vs mine. Putting this to the test could mean BIG savings and of course a NEW van for my family!
I was recently checking out the new Chrysler Hybrid Pacifica vans on Marburger Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. I love the idea of being able to save big on travel and gas…which of course means we would be able to do more of it! I have a feeling that this will be a go to van for many families as gas prices aren’t low, and I wonder if that’s especially true for states that have really gas prices or gas taxes.
What are your must haves when you go to buy a van? I used to think my must haves where things like: remote sliding doors, back up camera, etc. Those features are on all vans now, so my list has expanded. I think I have added hybrid to my next van list. I definitely still have back up camera, DVD player (as it’s been a lifesaver for my 3 yr old), and multiple charging areas since we have several teens who want to charge their phones on road trips. Gas mileage is big too…but most vans get about the same…having a hybrid in the future will definitely help with this!
