It’s a straight shot from Dallas to San Antonio if you take Interstate 35 the whole way. We have made this trip many times and enjoy several stops along the way. One of our favorite stops is just south of Dallas, in Waxahachie. HEB. We don’t have HEB stores in Dallas just yet, so we love to stop, fill up with gas, and grab snacks there. Once on the road, we don’t stop again until West Texas. There is a MUST STOP for everyone who passes by called, Little Czech Bakery. We love this place so much! You can get the best kolaches in the state of Texas! Around the holidays, they even had a pumpkin flavored one…and if you have followed me for very long then you know I love pumpkin EVERYTHING! Once we have full tummys, we can make it on into San Antonio with no other stops.

Our fun in San Antonio normally includes Sea World, the River Walk, and we try to find one other fun attraction to do while there. It’s such a fun place to play and explore. We have done the zoo, all of the fun touristy places across from the Alamo, we have done the Alamo, of course, and you have to get a cinnamon roll from Lulu’s Bakery.

I almost look for reasons to go to San Antonio because there is so much to do there! West Loop Mitsubishi is located in San Antonio and offers special military pricing.
