I love having fun in the kitchen with my kids. I tried to come up with ways to play in the kitchen with my girls when they were small and now that my son is three, we are exploring all over again. I was honored when my blogging friend, Arena Blake, told me that she wrote a book, Awesome Edible Kids Crafts and asked if I wanted to review it with my kiddos. I was beyond excited to get my hands on it! My big girls swiped it from me and looked it over cover to cover and devoured the fun ideas…begging to do several that day! My little guy and I have been playing with a few of the recipes and today decided to enjoy some “painting!” Arena has always has a fun, creative eye for crafting and her photography is top notch! Knowing her and her family made this book even more exciting to receive!
I love how Arena kept the crafts simple and edible. Nothing requires more than a few ingredients. She also didn’t make the crafts so complicated that an elementary age child couldn’t do most of them themselves, with little assistance. I love this. I love to craft with my kids…but with four kids, it’s hard when everyone is constantly asking for help! If you are looking for a fun book full of edible crafts that are adorable, then you definitely need to grab a copy of Awesome Edible Kids Crafts!
It sounds like a book I will buy. Thank you for reviewing!
