New year, new me? Right? I am trying harder in this new year to spoil my family a little more with some fresh new recipes and fun eats. I am trying to come up with fun new snack ideas that encourage my kids to incorporate more fruits and veggies. I am trying to make it fun and full of flavor…but not be too sneaky about it.
Back to Nature products make several options for snacks that will help me achieve my goal and today I made this yummy Chocolate Granola Apple Crisp and they devoured it! I decided to use Back to Nature Chocolate Delight Granola (Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten free, no hydrogenated oils, no high fructose corn syrup) because I know how much my kids enjoy granola and I think the chocolate addition will be the pop that will draw them in!
Recipe:
Filling:
- 4 apples, chopped
- 2 t lemon juice
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t salt
Top with:
- 2 c Back to Nature Chocolate Delight Granola
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c flour
- 1/4 c butter, melted
Chop apples, mix with lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt. Place in baking dish. Mix Granola topping ingredients and pour over the top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve as is, or over ice cream.
