While in Buena Park, we were invited as guests to check out the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure . I have been to Medieval Times and thought it might be a little like that, but boy was I WRONG! We had no clue of the fun that our evening would hold! After checking in, getting our family photos taken at a cute photo op, we headed inside to grab a drink at the bar. While waiting for our show to start, we were given small appetizers to snack on! This is always welcomed when you have little snack hounds (kids) with you!

Once it was closer to starting time, we noticed the stage in a room off to the side. The show was starting, even before we sat down! We were escorted in by our pirates color and seated! Our drinks and meals came out super quick. I absolutely love that they have kids meals, unlike Medieval Times. The kids were thrilled! While we were being served, our Orange Pirate came and introduced himself and asked if one of the girls wanted to be part of the show, and be sworn in as a pirate. Of course, she said yes!

The show started with a bang… literally. This was the only thing I didn’t like about the show…and we were warned. I wish they had headphones that we could have checked out for our little guy because he does NOT like loud noises and there was plenty of gun fire. As the show was going, I looked over to my kids and then over to my hubby and they were all soaking it in. They loved every minute of it. My hubby really got into it and I started wishing we could get a Pirate’s Dinner Adventure in Dallas! We will definitely go again!

The story line was funny and kept us engaged. We loved all of the different aspects to the show, including: swinging on ropes, trampoline, acrobatics, dancing and more! It was action packed!

Next time you are in Buena Park, you will have to check out Pirate’s DinnerAdventure ! It’s worth planning a trip!
