If you are looking to shake things up a little, then you might want to try Nerdvana in downtown Frisco. We checked it out last week and the kids are SOLD on the fun to be had at that restaurant. This is not your typical restaurant and you know that immediately when you walk in! The decor is digital and even the ceiling screams video games.

We sat at a booth across from our girls.

They got to play video games while we waited for our fun and Steve and I enjoyed a quiet booth a few feet away. The kids were so interested in their game that they barely stopped to eat dinner! Here are a few picts of our food:

Funny thing about this restaurant… Steve and I ordered dessert and ate it all while they were playing their game…and they NEVER saw it! So we kinda see this as a great place for a (semi) date.

The restaurant’s 7,633-square- footage space seats 220 guests indoors and 320 total, including patio space. Located on the second floor, a podcast booth connects the restaurant and coffee shop and often features live podcast shows and live steaming of game tournaments.

The restaurant is open six days a week for dinner and offers weekend brunch. Enjoy half-priced drinks by the glass during happy hour every Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

NOTE: This is not a baby friendly space! They have no high chairs! Just be aware of that! You can’t take one either as it’s not approved bt fire department to add extra seating.
