We were driving home from school the other day when Emma, my 2nd born said how much she loved having cool air in the back of our van. My hubby’s ride isn’t like that…
It got my thinking of all of the features that are in cars today that I didn’t have as a child! Here are the top five features in a car that my kids named as “the best of the best!”
1.) DVD player with remote. They love being able to watch movies in the van. I must say that since we picked up a few older iPhones on clearance and each kiddo has one in hand, they don’t want the actual DVD player much anymore. Still, this technology is better then what I had as a child…and that was NOTHING…unless you count the hand held Nintendo!
2.) Wireless headphones! The kids can listen to whatever they want without hubby and I haven’t to hear it as well! This is really awesome! They are cheap to replace at just $15 a pair! (and some vans have a storage compartment for them!)
3.) My kids said it would be really nice to have individual USB ports at each seat to charge devices. Currently we have two ports in our van, so sometimes they fight over who gets to charge first!
4.) WiFi! Our van does not have this but we have driven cars that DID have this and they thought this was the best thing ever! Personally I don’t mind unplugging a little while on the road. They live by wifi…lol.
5.) Individual bucket seats for personal space. They love being able to recline and lounge on long rides. Bucket seats afford them this ability!
If you are looking for a new kid friendly ride that encompasses the five items listed above, check out Stones Town Country Motors! They have a great selection of new and pre-owned vehicles to choose from! Something for everyone!
