I partnered with Boston Market for this post. All opinions are my own and are honest!

I am trying hard to eat healthier as I am back in the gym pushing hard to get “summer ready!” One of the things that I have done with stopped the fried foods, stopped with the boxed and packaged quick foods, and stopped adding things such as butter, salt and sauces to my food.

This is pretty easy to do at home but I have found it to be a little more challenging when going out and about…and let’s be honest, dining out on a busy evening packed with softball practice and dance is sometimes just easier.  I have found that choosing to dine at Boston Market is a great way for me to stay on track as they offer 150 home style meal combinations that are full of flavor at 550 calories or less. YES YES YES!!!

Currently they have a Half Chicken Special for $8.49 – which includes a half signature, rotisserie roasted chicken, two sides and fresh baked cornbread. This is my hubby’s favorite thing to get there! It’s juicy and full of flavor!

And check this out… When hubby and I were in the home study process for our adoption, we had to have a physical and hubby’s came back saying his sodium levels were on the higher end of normal. I love that Boston Market removed salt shakers from tables in all its restaurants and has reduced sodium levels in all menu items by 15 percent or more.78929a14-3058-44e3-bb72-e4e0c2530ea9

Another thing I love about Boston Market is that they are a proud participant in the National Restaurant Association’s “Kids LiveWell”program and a strategic partner of the United States Department of Agriculture “MyPlate” program. I never have to worry that my kids are going to eat a frozen, then fried item there! Always FRESH!

*Boston Market was awarded a HALO Award by QSR Magazine in 2014 for its meaningful contributions to a healthy, active lifestyle for consumers.
