There is a new trend in car buying. According to Kelly Blue Book, more and more people are starting to buy their cars online.

I think this concept is great if you know exactly what you want. Perhaps you are just wanting to upgrade to the newer model of what you already own. Of course, shopping online allows you to shop around some, but I can’t imagine you would find the prices to be too different.

I know many want to save time and the buying online is not just a fad that will fade but a trend that is here to stay… Across the board in all markets, not just cars.

I, however, love the idea of being behind the wheel! To touch, feel, and experience the car firsthand is too important to me. I also wonder how much “wheeling and dealing” can possibly happen over the phone. And most of the time I want to trade in an older car and use that credit towards my new one. How does that work when you buy online? I love the personal touch of buying from a salesman who can give me details about everything. I love being able to ask questions and get answers on the spot. Also, I gotta say, I think buying a car is one of those things…you see it, you want it…and you want to LEAVE WITH IT! I imagine if you buy online it has to be delivered…and who knows how long that takes?

If you want to enjoy a great experience buying in store then you might consider buying from Oyster Bay BMW! You can check their site online to see what they have on hand…both new and preowned before heading in!
