When my hubby and I got married, we had a 1996 Subaru Impreza. It was a zippy little car and we loved the great gas milage. We sold it a few years into marriage for something a little bigger.

This week I was given a 2015 Subaru Legacy to test drive. Before it came, I envisioned the little car we had when we were first married. Let me just say…Subaru has came a LONG way in 19 years! The car that showed up was NOT little and had a lot more bells and whistles then I imagined!

The 2015 Subaru Legacy is perfect for small families! You can easily get 5 adults in this ride. With an average of 30 MPG, this is a very efficient vehicle. (City 26, Highway 36 MPG). This is the tip of the iceburg on why I would encourage families to buy this car.

unnamed-1There are several features that I personally loved! As a busy mom, searching for the keys to my car is something that I spend time doing everyday! I have a place that I keep them at home, but digging in the bottom of my purse is a never ending struggle. I hate when I have to do that in the rain and with my hands full. With the Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, this struggle is OVER! I can’t tell you have much I love being able to walk over to the car and it unlocks and lights up for me. Seriously a luxury that I wish everyone could experience!

I also loved that this car has two USB ports for charging devices. For some reason when I got the iPhone6, I have had a hard time charging it in a car…maybe because my current van doesn’t have enough power to charge it. It charged great in the Subaru Legacy.

The other thing that I thought was incredibly helpful was the lane sway warning. If I got too close to the other lane, it would alert me. This is a nice feature, especially if you get distracted looking at something out the window! This car also has adaptive cruise control which means if you are cruising and the car in front of you is going slower then your set speed, it will automatically slow down your ride for you. Very nice!

My hubby loved two things about this car…the all wheel drive. He said that he could feel the power it gave as I drove it on wet roads. No worries of slipping and sliding! He also loved the nooks that it offered. There was one that he said was great for cell phones! He hates putting his in the cup holder as he often has those occupied with drinks, leaving his phone floating around.

Overall, I think this is a great ride at a great price. We are a family of 5, adding another one soon or it would be a great option for us. I think you would be very happy driving this luxurious vehicle. It’s slick style and awesome innovative features are top notch.

Prices for the Subaru Legacy start at $21.745. Read more about the Subaru Legacy on the Subaru website!
