Plan your perfect back to school outfit! A day or two before school starts (on a weekend if you can!) Head up to school about an hour before sun down for great lighting! Going a day or two before school starts allows you to get a photo into front of the school without fighting photo bombers or the clutter of people! You can take as many photos as you want at a relaxed pace! If you have multiple kids, like I do, you will appreciate the quiet as you snap your photos! We usually take them with and without our backpacks!
