Hubby and I were very excited to be invited to try the World Burger Tour at Hardrock Cafe! We LOVE a good burger and trying new things and were totally game for this fun dining experience!
World Burger Tour
This tour is going on at Hard Rock until the end of the month. Four burgers from around the world are being showcased at the Hard Rock Cafe Dallas:
- Marimba Burger – Guatemalan Legendary featured a Certified Angus Beef patty topped with a chipotle and jalapeño spiced layer of beans, fresh salsa, Monterey Jack cheese, Cheddar cheese and crispy tortilla straws
- Sweet and Sour Burger – Chinese legendary features a Certified Angus Beef patty topped with a fried onion ring, bell peppers and grilled pineapple drizzled with house-made sweet and sour sauce
- Lancashire Hot Pot Burger – English Legendary features a juicy lamb burger broiled until tender and topped with caramelized onions, crispy carrot frazzles and mint mayonnaise
- Cuban Burger – American Legendary from Miami features a Certified Angus Beef patty topped with marinated pulled pork, melted Swiss cheese and sweet plantains.
We decided that we would try the Marimba Burger and the Sweet and Sour Burger! I LOVED the Marimba. It as a fun Guatemalan twist to an American favorite. The salsa, cheese and tortilla straws gave it a delicious spin.
Hubby enjoyed the Sweet and Sour as he LOVES Asian food. He loved the sauce and thought that the pineapple gave it a nice sweet flavor. I personally thought that one was a bit too sweet for my liking. I live savory things.
Both burgers came with a side of fries…and they were yummy!
Hard Rock also has some fun Signature cocktails like the Red Berry Press shown above! Hard Rock is a great date night venue! Live music, fun eats, and great drinks! I highly suggest checking out the World Burger Tour before it’s gone!
Side note: Parking at the Dallas location can be tricky, bring change and go for one of the meters on the street!
