If you live in Texas, then you will want to road trip this summer to Pflugerville! It’s just North of Austin…so you you can head into town and explore Austin in the evening. During the day, you will want to park it at Hawaiian Falls.

The Pflugerville Hawaiian Falls location is perfect for some fun in the sun! Not only can you enjoy the awesome slides, lazy river and wave pool, but you can also make some great memories on the ropes course and ziplines!

We were invited to check it out and since we were on our way to San Antonio for AdventureCon Blogging conference, we thought it was a great idea and would break up our trip! My girls LOVE Hawaiian Falls in The Colony, and we go a lot as we have season passes. They didn’t know that this location also has the ropes course and zipline. So imagine their excitement when I told them that we would also get to do that!

I have never been more excited and proud of my 8 yr old Emma. The last time we tried a ropes course, she got sick. Nerves got the best of her and she just couldn’t handle it. This time, she jumped right on the bottom level and conquered it! To get to zipline, you have to complete all three levels and you have to do at least three on each level. Emma was the first to zip thru all three levels. She went up to the top to zipline and then came back down the stairs. I wasn’t at all disappointed that she didn’t zipline. It’s scary. She told me she wanted to try again and she went back to the top and jumped right off! I cried happy tears that she conquered her fears!

Hawaiian Falls Pfluggerville is a great park for family fun! The slides were so much fun! I, personally, did them many times myself! The lazy river is very relaxing and if you have a Cabana you get spoiled by great service provided there! This park is great because you can see all of the slides from the cabanas and I felt very comfortable sending my kids off to the slides. This is a park that I would def frequent if I lived near by.

food options at hfalls

The food options are great in the park too! We enjoyed turkey legs, hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, fries, funnel cakes and more! We ate like crazy people!

Here are a few tips for visiting this park:

If you have a season pass, come at 10. It’s open to pass holders 30 minutes before the regular crowd. Bring closed toed shoes and shorts so you can do the ropes course and zipline. They provide life jackets so no need to worry about that. They also have an arcade so plan for some indoor fun if you get too hot and need a break. You can purchase refillable drink cups and it could really save you a lot of money. Bring those cups back with you to the park each time you visit. Parking will cost $5, so plan for that. (I don’t always have cash, so I like to know when I need it!)

This park does have an area for little ones, if you are concerned about going with small ones. I would, however, say that it’s perfect for the school aged child and up! So much to do, I promise they won’t get bored!

I am not aware of that policy. I will look into it. What were you wanting a refund on? Admission or something else?
