Chickfila Cow Appreciation day is coming quickly and you might be thinking about how to dress your little ones! Each year Chickfila has a Cow Appreciation day and will give you a FREE meal when you arrive dressed like a cow! My kids love it and really get into it! This year it’s Tues, July 14th!
I made these costumes last year and we plan to use them again this year! Here is what you need to make these super easy Cow Appreciation costumes.
Head to Hobby Lobby and grab two cow patterned handkerchiefs and some ribbon. (Two per kid!) Simply sew two of the four sides together, leaving a about 4-6 inches unsewn at the top. It will look like a square. Then fold down the top part (where you left it un sewn, and leave enough space to run a ribbon. You will sew it and thread the ribbon thru to drawstring up. Super simple!
It took me about 10 minutes per top to sew the straight lines, and another 2 minutes to run the ribbon thru. Super cute! If doing this for little kids, you can use them as dresses instead of shirts.
