I was giving this fancy ride for a week as a win! All opinions are my own and are honest!
I got to feel fancy for a week! It was AWESOME! At a recent blogging event, I won a GM for a week. I got to pick what I wanted to drive and I choose the Escalade. Never in my life have I written in one and I thought it would be fun to drive one. I had no idea what kind of treat I was in for!
When it came to my house, if felt big… really really big! I wasn’t sure how I was going to get inside of it as I’m standing at a short 5’3″. Much to my surprise, as I opened the door a step shot out from under the Escalade and it was just what I needed. I felt like the red carpet was being rolled out for me.
As a family of 5, we need a ride that has a lot of space for us and all of our sports equipment. We normally are toting my father in law or one of the kids friends with us. We love have extras with us!
As a mom, I really appreciated all of the extras that the Escalade affords. Tons of simple push button options that make life easier! One of my favorite is the easy folding of seats. You simply push a button and the whole seat folds down. I’m not used to it being so simple. Normally, I have to break a pretty good sweat pulling one two and three levers in my current van to get a seat to flip. (Miserable!)
My kids LOVED that they each had access to their OWN DVD player. They could each watch whatever they wanted and also had headphones to enjoy as well! As a mom, I LOVED this! No fighting over which movie we would watch and at last, my hubby and I could enjoy peace and quiet!
Another awesome feature is a cooler that is inside the front console. This is AWESOME and great for travel. We can save so much money by taking our own drinks and snacks.
Last, my FAVORITE feature of this luxury ride is that it’s a Hotspot for wifi! This is life changing! No more wasted hours in the car while kids are at ball practice. I can now take my macbook and get work done! I didn’t tell the kids about this because they were happy watching DVDs and I knew they would want to take along iPads to play games or stream videos.
Over all, I would love to own an Escalade. We just bought a new house and it’s not in our budget at this time, but someday! 🙂
