I was sent a fun #DisneySide at Home Celebration kit to use to spoil my friends/family with some #DisneySide fun! All opinions are my own and are honest.
M-I-C-K-E-Y MOUSE – Mickey Mouse! We love Mickey Mouse and all of his fun loving friends in our house! We couldn’t wait to throw a fun #Disneyside party and invite our friends to come and PARTY with us! Celebrating nothing special…but celebrating everything fun!
When I think of Disney, I think of making memories that are full of fun and laughter. I think of a carefree place full of imagination and hope. I wanted my party to feel much like the same!
We started our party off with a fun Disney word search. This took longer then we expected but even the moms were so competitive that they didn’t want to give up until ALL were found! There were prizes for those who finished their word search…Disney themed prizes of course! And, Mickey tattoos were applied and some Minnie love was given for the camera!
The kids were so excited to enjoy the yummy treats and eats, so we moved the party to the kitchen! The menu included:
- Duff cupcakes – I did not ice these, instead the kids were encouraged to get creative in their decorating them!
- Mickey Mouse Cake Pops – My friend Megan made these and they are WAY too cute to not have at a party!
- Nerd Popcorn – Chocolate covered popcorn coated in nerds. Such a fun flavorful twist to popcorn.
- Mickey shaped pan full of strawberries
- and more!
The magic of Disney is not in the fun characters…but instead it’s the fact that Disney turns back time. Disney allows EVERYONE to go back in time and enjoy the innocence of childhood. For that very reason, I will never stop taking my girls to Disney or flooding their little hearts and minds with the magic of Disney.
