I have three girls! This means that we have princess stuff all over the house! We’ve had Princess makeovers, Princess slumber Parties, Princess Fashion shows and more. I know tons about Disney princesses, way more then I ever dreamed I would know. Infact, here are a few facts that maybe you don’t know:
Aurora is the only true blonde Disney Princess
Cinderella wears a woman’s shoe size 4.5
Snow White makes an appearance in Aladdin
Snow White was only 14
We have had several princess parties through the years, sleepovers included! It’s fun to have themed parties! Since Sleeping Beauty DVD just came out of the vault, I knew this was the perfect time to throw another Princess Party! This time it would be Maci’s first (mock) Sleepover party!
We invited a few of her first grade friends and began the planning process! We went to Walmart as I know they have a great selection of princess decor and party supplies.
We started in the halloween section and bought a few dresses! Prices just right at $9.99! We then went to the party supply area and found a few fun wall decorations! We bought the castle backdrop which came with props.
We also got this fun chandler, and photo back drop to hang! We picked up a few other American Greetings items such as princess themed plates and napkins!
We headed over to the electronics section to grab the newly released special edition Sleeping Beauty combo back (only available at Walmart!) this one has a bonus DVD!
We were set! Now off to plan our festive princess food! My friend Megan makes the most perfect cake pops so we enlisted her to make some fun Sleeping beauty cake pops!
She also provided perfect swag cookies to take home! (Princess perfect!) To serve with the cake pops, we poured Sprite over raspberry sorbet. It made the most perfect pink princess punch!
Since we knew we would be watching sleeping beauty, we wanted a popcorn treat! We bought pink chocolate melts while at Walmart and stired the freshly popped popcorn in it! Princess pink popcorn was perfect for the movie!
Every princess party needs a craft! We bought foam shaped tiaras and letters! Each girl decorated their own tiara! We also did a princess dance! A few years ago I downloaded the princess dance and it was perfect for our dress up and move play time!
To transition from one thing to the next, my 2nd grader read a princess story to the girls!
Of course we had to pose for some fun pictures before heading out!
If you are looking to host a fun princess party, feel free to copy my party from up above! The girls loved watching the sleeping beauty and the fun dress up play! Currently for the month of Oct, check to see if your local Walmart store has tear pad coupons on the American Greetings Princess party supplies, good for $3 off any $10 purchase of Disney-themed Party Goods supplies!

I love it! I am totally pinning this for my daughter!
