We have had a busy last few weeks! Getting ready to go back to school has been eventful in our house! Our youngest, Maci, broke her leg the week before school started. Poor thing did it a week before her 6th birthday…which of course was very sad because her Birthday party was a POOL party! It has been extra eventful for us because her break is high on her Tibia and she is in a FULL leg cast…this means she has to be pushed in a wheelchair, has to have help going to the bath room, and pretty much has lost all independence. If you have a 6yr old, you know this is a BIG problem! She will be casted until mid-October. Besides this crazy unexpected change for our family.
The next exciting thing that has kept us busier then normal is that we got a Foreign Exchange student! She’s 15 and from South Korea! The girls are loving having an older sister! She’s super sweet and so far it’s been very easy! She’s a teenager, so we do expect a few bumps in the road! She will be with us thru the first week of June. We are excited for her to join us in our crazy adventures!
