Easy Cheesy Chicken Bake Recipe (+ Printable Coupons)

School starts in two short weeks and I’ve been playing around with different recipes to change things up a little for my kids! I know once school is going, ball practice, homework and the fall festivities start, we will need quick and easy meals. Because I like to save money, I decided to see what grocery coupons were available to print and planned my meal around that. So I printed my coupons and off to Walmart I went! I picked up a few school supplies (as it’s Tax Free weekend here in Texas) and the ingredients that I would need to make my girls a yummy, hot meal!

They LOVE Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, so I knew that would definitely be in the recipe somewhere…and I would like them to eat more protein, so I decided that adding chicken would be a great way to sneak in some flavor and protein. They love grilled chicken when we marinate it in Kraft Italian Dressing, so we added that for a yummy zesty flavor. Topped with Kraft Natural Sharp Cheese, it was perfect!

Easy Cheesy Chicken Bake Recipe

First Marinate the chicken in Kraft Italian Dressing. Grill and let cool. Cook the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese as instructed on the box. Preheat oven to 350. Simply, chop grilled chicken up and add to Mac’n Cheese. Mix well, pour into a 9×9 dish and top with shredded cheese. Bake just until cheese is melted. Enjoy.

If you have a meal to take to a friend who just had a baby or surgery, this is a great one as they can heat it easily for a yummy kid friendly meal! As another cheat…if you don’t have time to grill, you can pop the chicken w/Kraft Italian dressing in a crockpot on low for 6 hours and then just shred it for the recipe!
