Parents everywhere have come up with some really awesome ways to tell their kids that they are going to Disney. I wanted to do something super fun and had some help along the way!
First and foremost, I must say that planning and packing for a Disney trip is SUPER stressful and hard to not talk about! I had to wait to pack while the kids were at school, which didn’t leave much time to make sure I had everything. I made lists that helped some…but then I stopped stressing because I knew that I could find a Target if needed.
Here is a fun way to tell your kids that you are going to Disney!
1.) Have a really awesome gifted friend who owns a bakery make you some adorable Minnie Mouse Cakepops. (I suggest Megan with Black Flour!)
2.) Have your hubby distract the kids while you seek out the flight attendant at the gate. Inform her of your game plan to tell the kids on board in mid flight. I suggest you do this with Southwest Airlines because they are super friendly and laid back. (The original plan was just for her to deliver the cake pops and I would tell them!)
3.) The flight attendant actually went above and beyond and made an announcement over head. (As seen in the video above!)
My girls were super excited and we only had an hour before we would land at LAX, so I wasn’t bombarded with a million questions! So much fun!
