As this goes live, I am at a #HelloAio event speaking on the following money savings apps that you can add to your smart phone or tablet! These apps have personally helped me to complete my Christmas shopping. I love finding great ways to save money…and clipless ways if I can! We are in a very digital market now and more major brands are players in the game, offering great deals via mobil apps.

Here is your list:

Shop Savvy: Available for iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone, ShopSavvy is a barcode scanner that finds the best prices for an item locally or online. In addition to the price comparisons, ShopSavvy now allows you to buy a product with one tap from some online. So if you find something in-store, you can scan the barcode with ShopSavvy and compare prices to other local stores or, if the online shop has a lower price, buy it straight from your phone.

Deal News App: Bargain-finding website dealnews has apps for iPhone and Android, so you can browse the latest deals on your phone and also get price alerts when an item you’re eyeing hits a low price.

Price Grabber: Save money and time comparing prices with Price Bragger app. This app, available for iPhone and Android helps you quickly find the lowest price on millions of products from thousands of online merchants and local stores.

Red LaserThis free app for iPhone and Android allows you to get the best prices, find deals and coupons, discover related products, scan and store your loyalty cards, etc.

The Coupons App: Find incredible local deals including freebies such as free sandwiches or drinks with The Coupons App, available for Android and iPhone. The app offers a coupon widget, gas price comparison, and the ability to save your coupon. To redeem coupons from the app, just show your phone to the cashier.

Ibotta: It’s Not Just for Groceries Anymore! Ibotta 2.0 just launched and can be downloaded at the Apple App Store or Google Play. New categories include your favorite restaurants like Chili’s and exclusive offers by different retailers. When you open Ibotta, you can choose your retailer first, and then see an exclusive list of offers by retailers. Instead of having a separate Store Extras section, there is now an Ibotta Product Gallery by retailer so you can see what’s available by store, including exclusive offers, which are marked for your benefit. Also, you can earn cash as you shop just register here!

Other notable apps for helping get freebies and deals:

GeoQponsThis app is great because it tells you what stores are offering deals near you. While in the check out lane at Kohl’s I always look and usually find a scannable coupon to use in store…on the spot.

FourSquare: I love this one for restaurant freebies!

Yiftee: Give giftcards on the spot from your phone!
