I am the wife that nags the snot of my man for how he loads he dishwasher wrong, or how he wastes water when he brushes his teeth, but the truth is…I am so thankful for him.
Last night as I was getting ready for bed, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for him. There are so many <little> things in life that get us distracted and disgruntled and sometimes we just need a good reminder to appreciate what we have.
We are not promised tomorrow. When I lay next to my man at night listening to him snore and chatter his teeth I know that I would much rather hear that then pure cold silence. He is a hard worker who loves me and our girls and I am very blessed to have him in my life.
Following the eery feelings of what life would be like if God choose to take him too early, I woke to the following text from him this morning:
“I love and appreciate you and the girls so much. I don’t show this enough but you ladies are my world!”
God is working in our hearts and lives to remind us daily to cherish the people who we love the most. Make each day count and leave a legacy of love. Never leave those you love wondering if you love and appreciate them. Tell them, show them. Live it.
I hope this post encourages you to think thru your relationships! Be vocal, love big!
