Okay…my dad is not super techy but he taught me something this weekend! I watched over his shoulder as he hunted and pecked on the keyboard to show me how to save money on van maintenance. He was showing me how to save money next time I go for an oil change. They always come out and ask if I want to buy and replace my air filter. I never know if I should say yes or no and usually say yes as I don’t want to cause any harm to van. My dad told me that I could save by YouTubing things. How to change the air filter was the first thing we looked out. It is SO STINKIN EASY! You literally unclip three clips and remove the old filter, replacing it with the new. So simple! I can get the filters for less then $20 for my van. The last time I had it replaced while getting an oil change, it cost me $29.99.
How easy is that…Youtube to learn how to do something simple and save money! I’m all in. I found out that my van also has a cabin filter that needs to be replaced from time to time as well. I was able to easily get to it and check it. I am hooked on saving money by doing things myself!
