School is starting back in a few short weeks and I am happy to announce that I am a Boys & Girls Club (BGCA) Back-to-School Ambassador! I love organizations that promote social and life skills in the future of our tomorrow…our kids!
This year BGCA has partnered with JC Penney for the ‘JC Penney cares round up campaign.’ What this means is that in the month of July, if you round-up your purchase to the nearest whole dollar while shopping at JC Penney, you can help make a difference in supporting afterschool programs at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. 100% of donations raised will go towards BGCA.
So when you are out doing your back to school shopping, don’t forget to pay it forward at JC Penney by rounding up! (Whole $ amounts are easier to deduct in your check register anyways!).
I love that Boy & Girls Club of America seeks to give kids an awesome after school program! The enrichment academically is awesome, but I love that they also focus so much on building character and life skills. Empowering the youth of today to be responsible, and to have confidence is so important. They ARE our future and helping them to see their worth and how they can contribute and be proud of themselves is helping to build a brighter future! This program offers students something that some parents can not… opportunity to grow in many different ways. The time spent building leadership qualities is invaluable.
