I buy milk at Aldi because they have the best place in town! I also buy produce and a few other items! I’ve never really taken the time to surf the isles at length or even the frozen section. Well I did this past week and WOWSA! I scored Mini Eclairs, Cream Puffs, and Mini Cheesecakes from the frozen section! I had NO clue they had that stuff. I was so excited as I had just signed up to bring dessert to a Holiday Party! Done! As I strolled the isles, I also found that they sale Wine! WOW, didn’t know that either! The prices are great too! I bought both red and white wine to take to a holiday party! I love that their wine was very organized and easy to pick! I bought Landshut Sweet Red and Villa Malizia Pinot Grigio for the white! I preferred the red, but got complements on both! Less then $10 per bottle! WOW!
While there I also bought Smoked Gouda Cheese and Gourmet Crackers! That is a party favorite as well! The Garlic Lovers Hummus was extremely yummy! Among those items, I stocked up on apples! They were just $1.49/bag! CHEAP! I bought three different kinds! The avacados were just $0.39 each.
If you have never shopped Aldi, now is the time to check it out! Here are a few tips to making your trip a success:
- Take a Quarter as you will need it to get a cart. (No worries, you get it back when you return your cart!)
- Take reusable bags. This is a great way to keep the trash down and it’s also a way they save on overhead. (You can buy them there if needed)
- and last, be prepared to stock up on fresh veggies, wine, and holiday treats! Also don’t forget the cheap milk!
