My friend, Amanda, who blogs at Simply Living My Life has an awesome recipe to share today! Check it out!
Being a busy mom of a toddler I love to find easy and quick meals! Even more, I love to cook in my crock pot.
Why do I love my crock pot so much? There are several reasons.
1) Once you have everything in the crock pot you can clean your mess up and then
when it is time for dinner your kitchen is clean!!!
2) You do not have to stop in the middle of the afternoon to cook dinner!!
3) A lot of times your whole meal is in the crock pot and you do not have to
make extra sides to go with it which means less clean up!!
I am sure I could think of more reasons…..what are some of your reasons you love your crock pot so much?
Here is one of my go to crock pot meals I have been making for years!
You will need:
3 large frozen chicken breast or 4 small frozen chicken breast
1 can ranch style beans
1 can black beans
1 package taco seasoning
**Sometimes I will use chicken strips instead
**Because my husband does not like ranch style beans I normally use 2 cans of
black beans
Put the frozen chicken breast in crock pot and then top with the beans and taco
seasoning. Cook on low 5 – 6 hours.
After cooking, shred chicken breast with two forks and mix everything together.
Serve on tortillias with sour cream, cheese and any other toppings you like.
Enjoy….the leftovers are great too!!! Another great thing, even my two year
old likes this!!!
