Does your family have any Back to School Traditions? Do you do anything special that first day? I have two that I am sending off to school this year and have a few ideas of some fun “Back to School” traditions. One that I started last year was having my daughter draw on a pillow case. I told her to draw herself and what she liked most. She did this with fabric markers. I plan to do this year, and to make her a quilt out of all of her drawings as a memory quilt! The day before school starts we pray on the front steps of each child’s school. We pray for the teachers, other staff members, the other children, and our child. Then we go to our favorite ice cream place for a treat.
